Description

  • Track engineering output, research, tool releases, talks, and milestones, and create the right marketing coverage for each.
  • Write and produce blog posts, case studies, briefs, social content, newsletters, and other marketing assets for technical and business audiences.
  • Own social media across X, LinkedIn, and Bluesky, including publishing cadence, community engagement, and audience growth.
  • Manage event marketing for conferences and industry events, including promotion, on-site coordination, speaker prep, and post-event follow-up.
  • Plan and execute multi-channel demand generation campaigns across social, email, webinars, and event activations.
  • Collect customer proof points such as testimonials, client logos, and case studies to support sales and credibility.
  • Provide sales enablement materials, including collateral, competitive intelligence, and prospect research.
  • Build dashboards and reporting cadences to measure marketing performance, attribution, pipeline influence, and revenue impact.
  • Gather market intelligence from customer conversations, competitor monitoring, and community engagement to inform positioning and priorities.
  • Coordinate closely with engineering, Technical Editing, GTM, and fellow marketing team members on shared campaigns and content workflows.

Requirements

  • Direct marketing experience in AppSec, AI/ML Security, or Research & Engineering.
  • Active public presence in security communities on X, LinkedIn, or Bluesky.
  • Experience writing security-focused content for technical audiences, including blogs, vulnerability research writeups, and tool documentation.
  • Experience running demand generation campaigns that produced measurable pipeline outcomes at a security, blockchain, or developer tools company.
  • Experience running social media as a primary channel in AppSec, AI/ML security, or developer security communities.
  • Technical fluency with GitHub, markdown, and tools like Claude Code.
  • Experience setting up dashboards and reporting cadences that connect security marketing activity to pipeline outcomes.
  • Hands-on experience with HubSpot or similar marketing automation in a B2B security or devtools context.
  • Experience using AI tools to accelerate security content production, research, and campaign execution.
  • Preferred: experience with analyst relations, PR and crisis communications, professional services or consultancy environments, customer journey mapping, client segmentation, S-curve analysis, practice-level positioning, AI-discoverability web content, or NPS/customer feedback programs.
