Description

  • Track engineering output, tool releases, research papers, talks, and milestones and ensure they receive appropriate public coverage.
  • Create case studies, briefs, blog drafts, and other marketing assets for technical and business audiences.
  • Own the content calendar across practices and coordinate publishing schedules.
  • Partner with Technical Editing on content workflows, report publications, and blog production.
  • Own social media across X, LinkedIn, and Bluesky, including cadence, engagement, and audience growth.
  • Manage the company’s presence at industry events and conferences, including promotion, on-site coordination, and follow-up.
  • Brief engineers, speakers, and leadership before external appearances and conferences.
  • Plan and run multi-channel demand generation campaigns that drive pipeline.
  • Collect customer proof points such as testimonials, client logos, and case studies to support sales and credibility.
  • Build dashboards, reporting cadences, and attribution tracking tied to pipeline and revenue outcomes.

Requirements

  • Direct marketing experience in AppSec, AI/ML Security, or Research & Engineering; this is required.
  • Active public presence in security communities on X, LinkedIn, or Bluesky.
  • Experience writing technical security content for expert audiences, such as blogs, vulnerability research writeups, or tool documentation.
  • Experience running demand generation campaigns at a security, blockchain, or developer tools company with measurable pipeline outcomes.
  • Experience owning social media as a primary channel in AppSec, AI/ML security, or developer security communities.
  • Technical fluency with GitHub, markdown, and tools like Claude Code.
  • Experience building dashboards and reporting cadences that connect marketing activity to pipeline outcomes.
  • Hands-on experience with HubSpot or similar marketing automation tools, ideally in a B2B security or devtools environment.
  • Experience using AI tools to speed up security content production, research, or campaign execution.
  • Experience with analyst relations, PR and crisis communications, professional services, customer journey mapping, AI discoverability, or NPS programs is preferred.

  • Base salary range of $130,000–$160,000.
