Description

Write elegant, efficient, testable Ruby code that is easy to maintain and debug.
Cover code with tests and perform manual testing of features.
Review the work of colleagues and provide constructive feedback.
Continuously improve team processes by brainstorming ideas, communicating status, and sharing progress.
Mentor team members and support their professional growth.
Learn new concepts and technologies as needed.
Design, develop, document, analyze, create, test, and modify computer-based and cloud-based systems or programs.
Contribute to product development and software planning, development, and maintenance.
Suggest and implement improvements to the codebase and engineering processes.
Lead technical initiatives and drive technical improvements within the team.

Requirements

5+ years of experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails.
Frontend experience with JavaScript and Hotwire.
Strong knowledge of OOP, automated software testing, and development/testing methodologies.
Experience or interest in AI/ML integrations.
Familiarity with LLM-based development workflows, including daily use of Claude Code.
Experience with big data databases such as ClickHouse or Apache Cassandra is a plus.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly growing company and handle diverse challenges and deadlines.
Must be located in the CET timezone ± 1 hour.
