Description

  • Prospect unsigned clients and target accounts through lead generation, cold calling, email, and LinkedIn outreach.
  • Qualify leads and develop sales-ready opportunities for Enterprise Sales Executives and Client Partners.
  • Lead client conversations, present Toptal’s perspective, and ask exploratory questions to uncover customer needs.
  • Research clients and industry trends to build rapport and improve outreach effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with sales team members to recommend follow-up actions and schedule qualified meetings.
  • Support sales efforts by enabling and educating the sales force on how to position Toptal with clients.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and strong data integrity in Salesforce.com.
  • Execute outreach cadences and meet monthly call, email, and sales activity quotas.
  • Contribute to demand generation strategy by suggesting and testing new outreach tactics.
  • Assist with training and onboarding new SDRs as you become fully ramped.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • 1-3 years of experience as an Enterprise SDR.
  • Strong understanding of business challenges faced by enterprise clients.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to think critically, solve problems, and create opportunities from unsigned accounts.
  • Persistence, motivation, and comfort working through rejection and setbacks.
  • Curiosity about people, companies, and industries.
  • Ability to understand sophisticated issues and explain them clearly to clients.
  • Resourceful, proactive, and able to work with ownership and accountability.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly growing company with diverse contacts and deadlines.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com, ZoomInfo, SalesLoft, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator (expected during onboarding).
  • Must submit resumes and communication in English.
  • No visa sponsorship or assistance is provided.
  • Monthly commissions are available based on sales development results.

Benefits

  • Base salary of $60,000 - $65,000 USD per year.
  • Eligible to earn monthly commissions based on sales development results.
