Description

  • Own the growth, retention, and success of a portfolio of SMB accounts as the primary point of contact.
  • Develop and execute proactive account plans that align client goals with Toptal’s talent solutions.
  • Conduct regular client check-ins to assess account health, gather feedback, and uncover new needs.
  • Identify and qualify expansion opportunities across business units and recommend appropriate experts and services.
  • Run tailored outreach and engagement campaigns, including Salesloft cadences, to educate clients on Toptal’s offerings.
  • Guide clients throughout the project lifecycle and ensure a seamless experience for both clients and talent.
  • Partner with Talent Operations and Delivery teams to resolve escalations, manage renewals, and support successful engagements.
  • Maintain accurate Salesforce records, including pipeline updates, contact management, and activity tracking.
  • Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and platform data to anticipate client needs and propose best practices.
  • Drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities to expand account scope and generate revenue.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • 3+ years of experience in account management with a proven track record of exceeding revenue-based quotas.
  • 1+ years of experience in software consulting or tech sales.
  • Strong ability to translate client business objectives into strategic solutions and project scopes.
  • Client-centric mindset with a commitment to client and talent success.
  • Growth mindset and openness to coaching and continuous improvement.
  • Proactive, self-starting approach with strong ownership and anticipation of client needs.
  • Critical thinking skills to identify bottlenecks and propose high-impact solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple deadlines, and travel periodically to meet clients.
  • English fluency is required for resumes and communication.
  • No visa sponsorship or visa assistance is provided.
