Description

  • Record everyday household activities from a first-person perspective, including cooking, cleaning, tidying up, folding laundry, gardening, and walking the dog.
  • Capture activities in your own home, yard, garage, or workspace.
  • Follow short recording guidelines for each session.
  • Upload videos through the project app.
  • Produce clear, stable, well-lit footage that accurately shows intentional tasks without unnecessary pauses or contrived movements.

Requirements

  • Own or use a smartphone or alternative camera device capable of at least 30 FPS and 1080p resolution.
  • Use an iPhone 11 or newer, Google Pixel 6 or newer, or Samsung Galaxy S21+ or newer.
  • Have a device with a wide-angle or 0.5x lens.
  • Mount the device at forehead or eye level for an egocentric perspective with a downward angle to maximize hand visibility.
  • Use the designated D&A application for data capture and upload.
  • Ensure videos are at least 15 seconds long and meet quality standards for clarity, stability, and lighting.
  • Be able to record useful, intentional household tasks without long pauses or staged movements.
