Description

  • Lead incident management and support efforts to resolve business-impacting issues in complex application systems.
  • Debug and triage application problems to identify root causes and corrective actions.
  • Use monitoring metrics, logging, and alerting tools to track system health and generate reports.
  • Drive operational efficiency, stability, and availability by applying standards and best practices.
  • Lead system upgrades, migrations, and maintenance activities while minimizing downtime and disruption.
  • Use continuous delivery and DevOps practices to deploy, run, and support software.
  • Mentor less experienced peers through technical guidance and leadership.
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify issues proactively and improve system performance.
  • Work directly with clients and influence support processes, scope, and incident management decisions when needed.
  • Apply current technology thinking to solve client problems.

Requirements

  • Experience with .NET and React front-end frameworks.
  • Good understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as DataDog, Prometheus, or Grafana.
  • Experience with relational or non-relational databases.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Buildkite, or Azure Pipelines.
  • Strong debugging and triaging skills to troubleshoot code effectively.
  • Ability to ensure bug fixes and enhancements are high-quality and well-tested.
  • Ability to conduct system performance analysis and implement optimization strategies.
  • High-level understanding of architectures including monolithic, N-tier, layered, microservices, and serverless.
  • Comfort with Agile methods such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Strong communication and articulation skills.
  • Presence in the external tech community through speaking, open source, blogs, or similar contributions.
  • Ability to influence clients on incident management, support levels, and scope of work.
  • Advocacy for cloud best practices and security best practices.
  • Willingness to participate in a rotation-based, need-based 24x7 team and handle multiple engagements.
