Description

  • Hunt, develop, and close net-new accounts aligned with the target ICP for learning, enablement, and customer education.
  • Own the full sales process from initial outreach and discovery through product tours, negotiation, and close.
  • Run consultative, customer-centric sales conversations using SPICED/MEDDIC frameworks to keep pipeline forecastable.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to influence roadmap priorities, support onboarding, and improve retention.
  • Act as the voice of the customer by sharing market intelligence, buyer trends, and competitive insights.
  • Conduct deep discovery and ROI-based selling to build business cases for modern learning platforms.
  • Deliver compelling demos and executive presentations to senior stakeholders, including L&D, HR, Enablement, Operations, and C-suite leaders.
  • Lead contract negotiations, handle objections, and close deals while maintaining client satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline hygiene, opportunity tracking, and forecasting in Salesforce.
  • Use data to continuously refine the sales approach and improve performance.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing, business development, or sales role with a focus on generating pipeline.
  • 1–2 years of experience running full sales cycles, including owning the close.
  • Proven track record of quota attainment and consistent outperformance.
  • Comfort with hunting for own opportunities and not waiting for inbound leads.
  • Ability to juggle multiple accounts, opportunities, and activities simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
  • Experience with consultative, customer-centric selling.
  • Comfort making phone calls and building relationships through direct outreach.
  • Strong team orientation and interest in contributing to a scaling sales function.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to self-diagnose what is working and what can be improved.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and growth through formal education, professional experience, or entrepreneurship.

  • Total compensation opportunity of $140,600–$211,000 CAD OTE, including base salary and commission.
