Description

  • Manage and secure Azure cloud infrastructure and cloud-based applications.
  • Secure Kubernetes and containerized workloads, including network policies, workload identity, runtime protection, and image scanning.
  • Own cloud security posture management by identifying and remediating misconfigurations.
  • Secure Terraform/OpenTofu infrastructure-as-code platforms through access controls, secrets management, and deployment approvals.
  • Manage Microsoft Entra ID security using Conditional Access, Entitlement Management, and just-in-time privileged access.
  • Review network architecture and connectivity changes, advising on segmentation and sensitive data flows.
  • Administer Zero Trust network access and edge security tools for corporate and cloud resources.
  • Manage SIEM, DLP, E/XDR, and vulnerability management solutions; monitor alerts and respond to incidents.
  • Conduct threat analysis, vulnerability assessments, risk evaluations, configuration reviews, audits, and compliance activities.
  • Develop security queries, scripts, integrations, and automated workflows while integrating security into SDLC and CI/CD processes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in cloud security engineering or a related role.
  • Hands-on experience securing cloud infrastructure and applications; Azure preferred and AWS experience beneficial.
  • Strong knowledge of network architecture, connectivity, segmentation, firewall controls, and network security.
  • Experience securing Kubernetes environments such as AKS, including network policy, workload identity, and runtime protection.
  • Experience with CSPM and cloud misconfiguration remediation.
  • Experience securing Terraform or OpenTofu orchestration platforms, including access control, secrets management, and deployment workflows.
  • Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, Entitlement Management, and JIT privileged access.
  • Experience with Zero Trust or SASE tools such as Cloudflare Zero Trust, WAF, or Gateway.
  • Knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001, CIS, HITRUST, and PCI DSS frameworks.
  • Experience with security assessments, vulnerability management, incident response, Windows/Linux platforms, and endpoint security.
  • Bachelor’s degree in information security, computer science, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • CISSP, SSCP, Security+, Azure/AWS security certification, GitOps tooling, programming, or network/systems engineering experience preferred.
