Description

  • Lead, coach, and manage the Procurement Manager and define clear team workflows and accountability.
  • Develop and execute category strategies to drive cost optimization across software, consultants, marketing, facilities, and equipment.
  • Partner with the CFO and Finance team to analyze spend and design systems that improve expenditure efficiency.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain procurement policies, intake workflows, spend thresholds, approval matrices, and compliance documentation.
  • Oversee an active portfolio of approximately 150 vendor relationships and lead high-value commercial negotiations.
  • Implement and optimize Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) software to manage contracts, renewals, and procurement workflows.
  • Educate U.S. and Mexico teams on procurement procedures and financial accountability, in partnership with Legal and People teams.
  • Build and own executive reporting frameworks to track pipeline velocity, renewal horizons, and financial impact.
  • Demonstrate ethical business practices, handle sensitive information discreetly, and support an inclusive, collaborative environment.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 8–10 years of experience in indirect procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management.
  • Experience leading, developing, coaching, and managing a procurement team.
  • Experience managing $15M to $30M+ in addressable spend and 150+ active vendor relationships.
  • Proven ability to deliver cost savings, cost avoidance, and working capital optimization in SaaS, technology, or high-growth environments.
  • Experience in nonprofit and international operations is ideal.
  • Strong contract literacy, including liability and indemnification terms, and experience working with in-house legal and external counsel.
  • Solid understanding of software licensing models, including named, concurrent, usage-based, per-device, and enterprise models.
  • Proficiency with modern procurement tools, CLM software, spend analytics platforms, and enterprise reporting frameworks.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related quantitative field preferred, or equivalent experience required; MBA or relevant master’s degree is a plus.
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to advise senior leadership and influence change across departments.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English; Spanish is a plus.
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
  • Must be able to work remotely from the continental U.S., Alaska, or Hawaii and operate between EST and PST time zones.
