Description

  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Support teams in delivering roadmap priorities in a structured and predictable way.
  • Work with Product Owners on backlog refinement, prioritisation, and requirements clarity.
  • Identify and remove blockers that affect team progress and delivery.
  • Coach teams on Agile and Scrum best practices and continuous improvement.
  • Improve collaboration between engineering, product, and wider business stakeholders.
  • Maintain delivery visibility through Jira and other reporting tools.
  • Contribute to improving delivery processes, tooling, and ways of working across teams.
  • Promote transparency, accountability, and continuous learning within the team.

Requirements

  • Experience working as a Scrum Master in a software development environment.
  • Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum principles and practices.
  • Experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies and supporting delivery across teams.
  • Ability to manage and prioritise competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience using Jira or similar tools for delivery tracking and reporting.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remove delivery blockers.
  • Ability to coach teams and improve ways of working.
  • Experience working across multiple Scrum teams (desirable).
  • Exposure to scaling Agile practices, delivery improvements, or process change (desirable).
  • Knowledge of other Agile frameworks or project methodologies (desirable).
  • Scrum Master certification such as CSM, PSM, or equivalent (desirable).
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable taking ownership.
  • Clear, confident communicator with strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Adaptable, collaborative, and pragmatic with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Eligible for Security Check (SC) clearance, including the right to work in the UK and UK residence history requirements.
