Description

  • Own the documentation site as software, including the docs-as-code repository, CI/CD publishing pipelines, build performance, and automated quality checks.
  • Build and improve AI-augmented documentation workflows for drafting, summarization, classification, staleness detection, and human review.
  • Structure and transform documentation so AI systems and agents can reliably chunk, index, reason over, and consume it.
  • Design, maintain, and support MCP-style interfaces and other infrastructure that make documentation consumable by AI agents and assistants.
  • Generate reference documentation from source specifications such as OpenAPI and keep documentation aligned with platform code changes.
  • Enable internal contributors such as PMs, squad leads, and engineers to publish documentation through the docs-as-code workflow.
  • Own the release notes and customer communications process for each platform release, including SME review and timely publication.
  • Maintain the documentation style guide, review-and-publish gate, and team runbook to ensure the function is resilient and not person-dependent.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience owning documentation tooling, content engineering, or developer documentation for a developer platform or enterprise B2B product.
  • Engineering experience in a scripting or web stack such as Python, TypeScript, or JavaScript.
  • Strong fluency with docs-as-code workflows, including Git, pull-request review, CI/CD, and static-site or CMS publishing pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience building AI-augmented or LLM-backed workflows, including LLM API integration and AI-assisted authoring.
  • Ability to read and reason about a codebase and API surface well enough to document it accurately and build tooling against it.
  • Strong editorial judgment and the ability to turn dense engineering changes into clear, correct, customer-safe documentation.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience making documentation consumable by AI agents, such as through llms.txt, content negotiation, RAG pipelines, or MCP servers (preferred).
  • Experience in BioPharma, scientific software, or regulated and validated GxP environments (preferred).
  • Experience generating reference documentation from OpenAPI or similar specifications with two-way Git sync (preferred).
  • Developer-relations or developer-education experience (preferred).
  • Must not require visa sponsorship for this position.
