Description

  • Administer, configure, and support LAN, WAN, and wireless networks to ensure reliable connectivity.
  • Monitor network performance and recommend optimizations to improve stability and efficiency.
  • Conduct system and security audits to identify vulnerabilities and reduce risk.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues affecting network infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to implement backup and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Document network configurations, policies, and procedures to support compliance.
  • Support network security measures, including firewalls and VPNs.
  • Stay current on emerging networking and network security trends.
  • Provide support to internal users and help resolve connectivity issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Network Administrator or in a similar IT role.
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Experience with network infrastructure components such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Must have Fortinet experience, IPv6 experience, and site-to-site tunnel experience.
  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools and techniques.
  • Experience managing network security measures, including firewalls and VPNs.
  • Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or similar are preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple tasks.
