Description

  • Lead large, complex projects from start to finish with limited direction.
  • Develop fee proposals, coordinate pursuits, and support client interviews with Marketing.
  • Build and maintain client relationships to drive repeat business and identify new opportunities.
  • Conduct client meetings and programming sessions to define system parameters and design criteria.
  • Design, coordinate, and engineer technology systems including telecom, security, network, audiovisual, acoustics, and Wi‑Fi.
  • Track project decisions, budgets, schedules, and deliverables to meet on-time, on-budget goals.
  • Delegate drawings, specifications, calculations, markups, inspections, and other technical work to appropriate team members.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, integrators, and internal TEECOM teams across design and construction phases.
  • Prepare and/or review project documentation, meeting notes, schedules, and process updates in company systems and CRM.
  • Mentor junior staff, contribute to internal training content, and support process improvement and team collaboration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably electrical, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 8 years of discipline-specific design experience for facilities construction projects.
  • Experience designing telecom, security, audiovisual, acoustics, Wi‑Fi, and network systems.
  • Experience with large, complex construction projects with TEECOM fees of $500,000+ and multiple disciplines.
  • Proficiency with Autodesk AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Experience with Bluebeam Studio, Microsoft Office 365, and G Suite.
  • RCDD certification required.
  • PE certification required.
  • Ability to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
  • Preferred experience in mission critical, healthcare, workplace, transportation, higher education, government, industrial, or cultural projects.
