Description

  • Coordinate internal and external resources to deliver projects safely, on time, within budget, and to specifications.
  • Help develop project scopes, cost estimates, schedules, designs, and delivery solutions.
  • Coordinate pre-construction meetings and project progress meetings.
  • Provide timely status reports covering milestones, risks, and current and forecast financial performance.
  • Conduct in-person project site visits as needed.
  • Collaborate with clients, general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and Business Unit leadership.
  • Manage project dependencies, risks, schedules, costs, and resource requirements across interconnected projects.
  • Monitor, mitigate, and communicate project complexities and issues to the Business Unit Vice President.

Requirements

  • Four-year degree in engineering, construction management, or a related construction field, or equivalent education, training, and experience.
  • At least 4 years of project management experience in electrical construction projects involving energy infrastructure and technology.
  • Experience evaluating costs and scope requirements for electrical construction projects.
  • Ability to manage multiple large projects.
  • Strong interpersonal, influencing, presentation, and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to make administrative and procedural decisions and judgments.
  • Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret-level security clearance.
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • Proficiency with project management tools for tracking schedules, budgets, and approvals preferred.
  • Experience supporting Federal Government clients preferred.
