Description

  • Manage Agile project management tools for backlog management, sprint planning, task tracking, release planning, and sprint reporting.
  • Coordinate Agile activities across cross-functional teams to keep work organized, prioritized, and aligned to program objectives.
  • Monitor project progress and identify risks, dependencies, impediments, and resource constraints for resolution with program leadership.
  • Maintain sprint burndown charts, velocity metrics, release readiness metrics, and other Agile performance indicators.
  • Generate automated dashboards, reports, and project metrics from Government-approved Agile tools.
  • Collaborate with Government stakeholders, Product Owners, and technical teams to clarify requirements, refine backlogs, and manage scope changes.
  • Maintain traceability between customer requirements, user stories, development tasks, testing activities, and delivered capabilities.
  • Facilitate risk identification, mitigation planning, and issue resolution during sprint execution and release planning.
  • Promote Agile best practices and continuous improvement across the program.
  • Support release planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies as needed.
  • Prepare project status reports, executive briefings, and performance summaries for leadership and stakeholders.
  • Ensure project documentation, schedules, and Agile artifacts remain accurate, current, and compliant.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Current Agile certification such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), SAFe Agilist (SA), or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), maintained throughout employment.
  • Minimum 3 years of Agile project management experience supporting DoD software development or modernization programs.
  • Experience using Agile project management platforms such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or comparable Government-approved tools.
  • Experience managing Agile backlogs, sprint planning, project tracking, and program reporting.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, Scrum principles, and software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.
  • Experience developing project metrics, dashboards, and executive reporting.
  • Excellent organizational, facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Active Secret Security Clearance.
  • Experience supporting U.S. Air Force software development or modernization programs (preferred).
  • Experience coordinating multiple Agile teams on complex software delivery programs (preferred).
  • Familiarity with the DoD Software Acquisition Pathway (SWP) (preferred).
  • Experience supporting DevSecOps and CI/CD software delivery environments (preferred).
  • Knowledge of risk management, requirements traceability, and software release management (preferred).
  • Experience using Power BI, Jira dashboards, Azure DevOps Analytics, or similar reporting tools (preferred).
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
