Description

  • Act as an internal consultant to advise teams and clients on digital platform and experience solutions.
  • Support business analysts with customer meetings, discovery work, and solution design.
  • Analyze business requirements and propose technical solution options.
  • Gather technical and non-functional requirements and assess their impact on solutions.
  • Design technical architecture and prepare high-level designs for customers.
  • Create technical documentation to guide development teams.
  • Support project managers and scrum masters with high-level estimates and validation of delivery plans.
  • Work closely with development teams during design and implementation, including solving difficult technical issues.
  • Interface with third-party infrastructure teams to analyze, optimize, and triage platform issues.
  • Provide technical governance, code review, mentoring, and line management for lead developers.
  • Use AI tools to assist with research, solution identification, documentation, and development lifecycle support.
  • Promote improvements, efficiency, secure coding practices, and effective CI/CD usage across projects.

Requirements

  • Commercial experience with either HTML/JavaScript or Java across the full software development lifecycle.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience writing clear technical documentation.
  • Ability to craft clear, unambiguous prompts for AI tools.
  • Strong logical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience managing and mentoring employees.
  • Strong technical background building web applications using Java/JEE, Spring, XML, Maven, and Tomcat.
  • Strong experience in CSS, HTML, and JavaScript is desirable.
  • Experience with business rules management systems or content management systems, particularly Adobe AEM, is desirable.
  • Experience working in Agile (SCRUM) environments.
  • Understanding of AI tooling across the development lifecycle, including its effective use and limitations.
