Description

  • Develop complex Java code across monolithic and microservices architectures.
  • Estimate development effort for projects and help plan delivery.
  • Help define and execute the development strategy.
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure quality standards are maintained.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts, Project Managers, and QAs in an Agile Scrum environment.
  • Use TDD and work on Java projects built with Spring MVC/Boot, Thymeleaf, RESTful services, MongoDB, MySQL, JUnit, and related tools.
  • Produce clean, well-documented code.
  • Provide recommendations on development approaches to address critical business requirements.
  • Work closely with a team of developers to solve complex technical problems.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable Java development experience.
  • Experience working with both monolithic and microservices architectures.
  • Proven ability to deliver multiple projects.
  • Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD).
  • Strong knowledge of software development practices, processes, and theories, especially Agile development principles.
  • Knowledge of at least one MVC web development framework, preferably Spring MVC.
  • Experience with GIT.
  • Hands-on software delivery background.
  • Passion for Java and technology.
