Description

  • Partner with engineers across the organization to build high-quality, scalable products.
  • Automate repetitive tasks and streamline the software development lifecycle.
  • Analyze engineering workflows to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Design and implement process improvements based on guild and team insights.
  • Optimize code review processes and support continuous integration and delivery best practices.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, guidelines, and best practices.
  • Develop and deliver training for new and existing engineers.
  • Mentor engineers, troubleshoot technical issues, review code, and provide feedback.
  • Evaluate and recommend tools, frameworks, and methodologies to improve engineering capabilities.
  • Work with and improve legacy codebases.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience building and supporting production web applications.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and Terraform.
  • Proficiency writing software used in a production environment.
  • Experience working on a platform with multiple services.
  • Experience collaborating with teammates of varying experience levels on technical projects.
  • Ability to work and problem-solve independently.
  • Strong collaboration, documentation, and async communication skills.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • DevOps or SRE experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Golang and Ruby in a production environment is preferred.
  • Experience on an engineering enablement or platform team, or contributing to engineering-wide initiatives, is preferred.
