Description

  • Work directly with the sales team from initial discovery through deal close to shorten sales cycles and improve closing rates.
  • Lead discovery meetings, deliver platform demonstrations, and run technical proof-of-value engagements for current customers and new opportunities.
  • Translate customer business challenges into technical solutions that position Tanium to address their needs.
  • Serve as a technical expert during sales engagements and align pre-sales and POV activities with strategic account goals.
  • Partner with field engineering teams to maximize technical effectiveness and ensure a consistent customer experience throughout the POV process.
  • Communicate customer needs clearly through verbal, written, and presentation formats.
  • Build, manage, and maintain strong relationships with customers, peers, and partners.
  • Participate in regional marketing events and conferences, including speaking engagements.
  • Provide customer-facing sales and channel enablement, including training.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to improve effectiveness across the customer lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Must be located in Colorado.
  • 6+ years of operational and/or selling experience in endpoint operations or security.
  • 4+ years of experience in customer-facing or customer support roles.
  • Significant software pre-sales or value-based technical selling experience in large enterprise environments.
  • Experience presenting to audiences ranging from C-suite executives to solution users.
  • Demonstrated ownership of complex initiatives with successful outcomes.
  • Broad knowledge of IT security, operations, and compliance products and practices.
  • Hands-on experience in one or more of the following: Endpoint Security, IT Operations Management, or Regulatory Compliance.
  • Broad knowledge of scripting languages is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong critical thinking skills.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a mission-first attitude.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent experience required.
