Description

  • Develop and execute regional Federal Partner Business Plans in partnership with the Regional Sales VP.
  • Recruit, enable, and align Federal partners and internal teams to meet territory sales targets.
  • Activate Tanium sales teams with partner value propositions and coach them on partner-led selling.
  • Identify accounts and work with sales teams to win new business and expand existing business.
  • Serve as the regional Federal Civilian partner expert for sales, operations, and enablement teams.
  • Work with partners and Tanium resources to ensure contracting vehicles are in place and identify future contract opportunities.
  • Lead executive-level discussions with current and prospective partners about Tanium’s value to their business.
  • Plan and run partner workshops and training sessions on how to identify, pitch, demo, and implement Tanium.
  • Develop and execute regional marketing programs, events, campaigns, and sales plays with partner teams, and track ROI.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of the industry, territory, partner accounts, and competitive landscape.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a regional or national partner sales role focused on the Federal vertical, specifically Civilian Federal accounts.
  • Experience working with value-added resellers, system integrators, tech alliance partners, MSPs, CSPs/SPs, and Federal service delivery models.
  • Experience working for a VAR or system integrator is strongly preferred.
  • Experience creating and successfully managing a Federal-based regional or national partner program.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement vehicles across Federal market segments.
  • Experience as a quota-carrying sales representative or business development professional is strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; master’s degree preferred.
  • Candidates living in the DC Metro area are preferred.
  • Proven sales ability with demonstrated knowledge of the sales process.
  • Hunter mentality is required.
