Description

  • Generate opportunities and position the Tanium platform within assigned SLED territory and/or accounts.
  • Articulate the value of the Tanium platform to decision makers and manage the complex sales cycle.
  • Develop relationships within the territory and present the platform value to C-suite stakeholders.
  • Work with Partner and Marketing teams to support prospecting and sales efforts.
  • Create sales development activity to maintain a healthy pipeline.
  • Accurately forecast sales and maintain strong SFDC hygiene.
  • Conduct webinars and in-person presentations to generate qualified leads.
  • Travel as needed to support sales efforts.

Requirements

  • Proven success selling into higher education and/or local government accounts in California.
  • Candidates must be based in California, preferably Southern California.
  • Significant enterprise software sales experience with large, complex transactions.
  • Proven track record of exceeding quota.
  • Experience calling on and presenting to C-suite contacts.
  • Experience leveraging partners, distributors, and VARs to drive growth and exceed sales objectives.
  • Ability to build new business opportunities within an assigned territory and/or accounts.
  • Strong team mentality and ability to manage virtual resources across complex sales cycles.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
