Description

  • Develop and execute the company’s legal strategy in line with business objectives and market expansion plans.
  • Assess legal risks for entry into new markets and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Create licensing, content certification, and deal-structuring roadmaps for regulated jurisdictions.
  • Maintain and optimize the group’s corporate structure, including SPVs, subsidiaries, and partner entities.
  • Represent the company at industry events, regulatory forums, and other public engagements.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external advisors such as law firms.
  • Draft, negotiate, and manage contracts with operators, studios, aggregators, payment providers, and technology partners.
  • Support compliance programs covering AML, KYC, Responsible Gaming, GDPR, and other privacy requirements.
  • Provide legal support to sales, product, tech, marketing, HR, and operations teams.
  • Identify, mitigate, and manage legal risks, pre-litigation matters, settlements, and disputes.
  • Oversee external law firms, conduct legal audits, and manage due diligence of key counterparties.
  • Build, manage, and develop an internal legal and compliance team and establish department policies and workflows.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an IT corporate legal environment.
  • Proven leadership and team management experience.
  • Strong background in private international law, contract law, corporate law, tax law, and regulatory compliance.
  • Hands-on experience with compliance, AML, GDPR, and global data privacy regulations.
  • Experience handling multi-party negotiations and complex commercial deals across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Knowledge of licensing and regulatory requirements in markets such as MGA, Curaçao, Isle of Man, ONJN, Greece, Brazil, or similar regulated jurisdictions is a plus.
  • Higher legal education, preferably from a Czech university.
  • Practical experience working within the Czech legal framework.
  • Ability to travel freely within the EU and internationally without visa restrictions.
  • Excellent command of English with the ability to draft and negotiate legal documents.
