Description

  • Develop test automation suites to expand coverage for microservices and integrate them into regression and release processes
  • Integrate automated test execution into the software development lifecycle and CI/CD pipelines
  • Deliver tooling to test integrations with third-party services (Payment rails, SMS/Email, KYC, Analytics, etc.)
  • Support releases by validating quality, triaging issues, and communicating problems to product and stakeholders in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with Squad Lead and cross-functional teams (Product, Data, Credit, Business Development) to identify automation opportunities and strategize rollouts
  • Maintain, review, and implement improvements to existing test frameworks, tools, and processes
  • Continuously learn new tools and help the team optimize the test framework and automation practices

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years experience building test tools and frameworks for backend or frontend services
  • Proficiency in one or more of: Groovy, Kotlin, Java, or Scala
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins (or similar) and integrating automated tests into pipelines
  • Familiarity with Linux and/or macOS development environments
  • Experience with BDD testing paradigms and frameworks such as Spock, JBehave, or Cucumber
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture and automation testing for distributed services
  • Experience working in Agile development processes (Scrum or Kanban)
  • Experience with version control systems such as GitHub or GitLab
  • Ability to work remotely from India (role listed as Remote-India)
