Description

  • Collaborate with developers, product teams, leadership, and stakeholders to deliver customer-focused solutions.
  • Design and implement scalable, high-performance backend services and APIs using AWS technologies.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and test solutions aligned with AWS architecture.
  • Drive technology decisions and support software planning, development, and delivery.
  • Develop innovative features that enhance mobile user experiences.
  • Work within Agile/Scrum teams to deliver solutions according to product standards and agreements.
  • Contribute to architecture, source control, CI/CD, and other software development lifecycle practices.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in system design or architecture, including design patterns, reliability, and scalability.
  • 5+ years of experience deploying and managing AWS applications.
  • Proficiency with AWS services including SQS, Lambda, DynamoDB, CloudFormation, S3, OpenSearch, and API Gateway.
  • Experience with AWS monitoring and metrics tools such as CloudWatch, EventBridge, CloudTrail, and SNS.
  • Proficiency in Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, REST API development, linters, Jest, unit testing, and integration testing.
  • Experience integrating third-party APIs, web services, and API gateways.
  • Strong understanding of large-scale system design, horizontal scaling, high-throughput systems, and massive datasets.
  • Familiarity with Git/GitHub and team code-management practices.
  • AWS Certified Practitioner or AWS Certified Developer certification preferred.
  • Remote applicants considered; preference for candidates in or willing to relocate to Billings, Montana. Applications are not accepted from AK, CT, DE, MA, NM, or SD.
