Description

  • Translate business requirements into scalable Microsoft-based data analytics solutions.
  • Design end-to-end architectures covering data integration, warehousing, modeling, visualization, and reporting.
  • Build ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, and related tools.
  • Develop interactive dashboards and reports with Microsoft Power BI.
  • Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize data processing, queries, and system efficiency.
  • Partner with security teams to ensure data privacy, security, governance, and regulatory compliance.
  • Provide technical leadership to data engineers, analysts, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Participate in requirements elicitation, brainstorming, architecture reviews, and new opportunity pursuits.
  • Stay current with Microsoft analytics technologies, industry trends, and solution design best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent aligned experience.
  • 8+ years of experience as a Data Analytics Architect or Senior Data Integration Developer focused on Microsoft technologies.
  • At least 1 year of full-lifecycle greenfield architecture experience.
  • Expertise with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Power BI, SQL Server, and Azure data platforms.
  • Experience with data modeling, including dimensional and normalized models, data warehousing, metadata management, governance, and data quality.
  • Proficiency in ETL/ELT development, pipeline orchestration, data integration, visualization, and performance tuning.
  • Experience conducting architecture reviews and designing scalable, secure, high-performance solutions.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, customer service, problem-solving, business acumen, and stakeholder facilitation skills.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, JIRA, or SVN and Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Azure Machine Learning, Python, or R for AI/ML analytics integration is preferred; relevant Microsoft certifications are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel 4–6 times annually, for no more than 24 days away from home per calendar year.
  • Must reside in Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, North Carolina, Arkansas, Arizona, or South Dakota, and attend corporate-site onboarding.
