Description

  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing software engineering team for the next-generation CSPM product.
  • Define team priorities, break down development tasks, and own sprint planning and delivery tracking.
  • Drive cross-functional strategic initiatives across product, security, and infrastructure teams.
  • Manage complex cross-team dependencies, timelines, and engineering constraints while maintaining quality.
  • Serve as a technical point of contact for stakeholders and customers and communicate expectations clearly.
  • Lead the team’s transition to a Claude Code-based development workflow and drive adoption of AI-native engineering practices.
  • Design and implement automated pipelines for testing, maintenance, code review assistance, and boilerplate generation.
  • Guide the design of multitenant, cloud-native data-processing microservices for resiliency and performance.
  • Review team code and contribute hands-on coding when needed to unblock delivery milestones.
  • Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching, and set individual expectations aligned with company goals.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of software engineering experience.
  • 4+ years of experience directly managing or leading software engineering teams in distributed system environments.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional initiatives across multiple departments or matrixed organizations.
  • Strong project management and scoping skills with the ability to deliver under shifting priorities and resource constraints.
  • Experience communicating with stakeholders and customers, including setting realistic, data-backed expectations.
  • Experience pioneering AI-assisted engineering using Claude Code or similar LLM-driven command-line agents.
  • Experience defining modern development best practices, with a focus on DevOps, continuous delivery, and automated CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of designing scalable, high-performance, event-driven, and streaming data-processing microservices.
  • Experience building high-availability, fault-tolerant platforms and reusable cloud components.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one public cloud environment such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, plus Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies.
  • High proficiency in one or more core languages such as Golang, Java, .NET, or C#.
  • Experience or strong interest in cloud-native cybersecurity, especially CNAPP.
  • Experience building and leading cross-functional teams at major cloud providers such as AWS or GCP is a major plus.
