Description

  • Lead technical discovery across the sales cycle to map customer pain points to Syndio's platform capabilities.
  • Deliver tailored, executive-ready product demonstrations to HR, finance, and technical stakeholders.
  • Partner with Account Executives on technical strategy from discovery through close.
  • Run proof-of-concept engagements using prospect data when appropriate to show measurable impact.
  • Serve as the technical voice in RFPs, security reviews, and competitive evaluations.
  • Build and maintain interactive demo environments and sandbox instances.
  • Create reusable demo assets, ROI models, competitive battle cards, and technical one-pagers.
  • Partner with Product Marketing and Product Management to keep demo content aligned with the roadmap and market positioning.
  • Feed structured field intelligence back to Product on objections, feature gaps, competitive dynamics, and new use cases.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering on beta programs, design-partner sessions, and early-access previews.
  • Help define the sales engineering operating model, including engagement rules, coverage models, tooling, and success metrics.
  • Mentor and onboard future Sales Engineering hires as the team grows.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of enterprise Sales Engineering experience supporting complex Fortune 500 customers.
  • Experience handling sensitive PII.
  • Knowledge of SOC 2, encryption, and AI risk management.
  • Solid understanding of APIs, integrations, and enterprise LLM usage.
  • Strong executive communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to translate complex analytical and AI concepts into business language.
  • Experience designing tailored demonstrations for both HR leaders and technical buyers.
  • High curiosity and the ability to rapidly self-teach new software and domains.
  • Comfort working cross-functionally and balancing technical precision with customer service.
  • Experience with security-conscious enterprise environments and InfoSec stakeholders is preferred.
  • Ability to live and work from NYC, Seattle, or San Francisco in the U.S.
