Description

  • Serve as the national clinical subject matter expert for a neurosurgical platform.
  • Provide hands-on support during surgical procedures to ensure successful system use in the operating room.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Clinical Specialists across multiple regions.
  • Establish and standardize clinical best practices, workflows, and case support strategies.
  • Design and deliver training programs for internal teams and external customers.
  • Educate surgeons, hospital staff, and clinical teams on system use and clinical applications.
  • Develop training materials, protocols, and educational resources to support adoption.
  • Troubleshoot complex clinical and technical issues in high-pressure environments.
  • Act as an escalation point for clinical and technical inquiries.
  • Partner cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and product teams to support growth and product launches.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field, or an Associate’s degree with additional experience.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting neurosurgical procedures in a clinical or medical device environment.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively, approximately 50% nationally.
  • Background as a Clinical Specialist, Scrub Tech, RN, or in a similar OR-based role.
  • Strong hands-on operating room experience, including sterile technique and surgical workflows.
  • Experience with image-guided systems, navigation, or robotics is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to train, mentor, or lead clinical teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence clinical stakeholders.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
