Description

  • Own the annuities sales funnel and revenue targets as a hands-on player-coach who sells, coaches, and drives weekly execution.
  • Build and scale a high-performing team of licensed sales and operations professionals.
  • Establish coaching rhythms, performance metrics, and playbooks to improve close rates and customer trust.
  • Architect and manage the operational backbone for licensing, suitability, rollovers, commissions, and policy administration.
  • Design and implement scalable operational processes from application through policy servicing.
  • Influence product and portfolio strategy using customer insight and unit economics.
  • Translate customer and business findings into requirements for education, quoting, e-app, and servicing.
  • Partner with Marketing to shape go-to-market strategy and improve lead quality, scripts, and funnel performance.
  • Establish and manage KPIs to create a data-driven culture of performance and accountability.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Engineering to improve the platform.

Requirements

  • 7-12+ years of experience leading inside sales and operations teams.
  • Proven sales success in the annuities market, including exceeding personal and team quotas.
  • Active Life & Annuity producer license.
  • Up-to-date NAIC training and readiness to take live calls and close business on day one.
  • Experience in a consultative, compliance-heavy environment.
  • Strong knowledge of the end-to-end annuity process, including suitability reviews, replacements/rollovers, funding, and post-issue servicing.
  • Experience with forecasting, pipeline management, and modern CRM/telephony systems.
  • Ability to analyze data and turn it into action.
  • Experience hiring top talent, building playbooks, and rapidly improving team performance.
  • Strong coaching and writing skills for scripts and training materials.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-moving, tech-forward culture with an ownership mindset.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $102,000 to $180,000 annually.
  • Eligibility for bonus and equity in addition to base salary.
