Description

  • Work with Project Managers and Technical Architects to deploy and test Sycurio solutions for customers.
  • Build, test, and deploy standard customer solutions based on low-level design and test documentation.
  • Update and maintain low-level design and as-built documentation throughout the delivery process.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical faults and integration issues during deployments, escalating when needed.
  • Provide third-line support for existing customers and deployed solutions.
  • Participate in product research, development, prototyping, and the documentation of new functionality and testing strategies.
  • Develop subject matter expertise across Sycurio products and components.
  • Provide installation and deployment coaching and training to first- and second-line support engineers and customer engineers.
  • Take on additional duties as required to support delivery and customer needs.

Requirements

  • Experience with telephony SIP and TDM configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Linux OS-based environments.
  • Ability to create and maintain virtual machines in a VMware ESXi environment.
  • Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking, including firewalls and routers.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to produce high-quality technical documentation.
  • Experience with Cisco ISR configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of TDM technologies such as E1/T1 and ISDN (Q.931 variants).
  • Knowledge of VoIP protocols and codecs including SIP, RTP, DTMF, RFC2833, G711, and G729.
  • Working knowledge of network infrastructure components such as switches, routers, firewalls, and load balancers.
  • Familiarity with network protocols and applications including VLANs, IP, TCP, UDP, DNS, NTP, HTTP, HTTPS, IPsec, LDAP, and SSH.
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Nagios, SNMP, OSSEC, Splunk, and Syslog.
  • Considerable experience providing third-line support in a software or telecommunications environment.
  • Fundamental knowledge of AWS EC2 and VPCs.
  • Ability to navigate the AWS Management Console.
  • Broad understanding of IPsec VPN applications.
  • Knowledge of web technologies including HTML, JavaScript, Ajax, SOAP, and XML web services.
