Description

  • Lead technical discovery calls, identify creative solutions, discuss competitive considerations, and document product requests.
  • Partner with account executives to prepare and deliver demos of advanced platform capabilities and integrations.
  • Manage proof-of-concept delivery for complex customer and prospect use cases with onboarding and engineering teams.
  • Advise customers and partners on standardized and custom API integrations.
  • Support customers in extending SMS strategies into email and help establish related best practices.
  • Create technical content explaining use cases, methodologies, integrations, and new features.
  • Provide technical troubleshooting and guidance to onboarding and customer support teams.
  • Collaborate with integration partners as a technical point of contact to ensure successful implementations.
  • Act as a technical advisor throughout the customer lifecycle and contribute to solutions engineering playbooks and processes.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in a revenue-driving, customer-facing technical role such as solutions engineer, sales engineer, or support engineer.
  • Ecommerce experience required; Shopify ecosystem experience highly preferred.
  • Experience working with high-GMV direct-to-consumer or omnichannel Shopify/ecommerce brands.
  • Proficiency with front-end web technologies such as JavaScript and CSS.
  • Ability to build proof-of-concept integrations using well-documented APIs.
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools and ability to explain AI capabilities credibly to prospects.
  • Strong communication skills for translating technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to collaborate independently with Product, Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, and partners.
  • Customer-first mindset, strong attention to detail, curiosity, and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Email marketing platform experience, including deliverability, segmentation, or cross-channel orchestration, is preferred.
