Description

  • Serve as the Business Development technical lead from customer discovery through opportunity closure.
  • Engage customers and mission users to understand operational needs, constraints, priorities, and decision criteria.
  • Translate customer requirements into solution concepts, architectures, implementation approaches, and value propositions.
  • Develop technical win strategies, address technical objections, and support opportunity qualification and capture decisions.
  • Lead technical demonstrations, prototypes, presentations, white papers, proposals, and solicitation responses.
  • Coordinate with product, engineering, cybersecurity, DevSecOps, and industry partners to develop executable solutions.
  • Architect mission software using microservices, event-driven architectures, modular monoliths, and Modular Open Systems Approaches across cloud, edge, and on-premises environments.
  • Design secure and resilient systems for classified, disconnected, intermittent, bandwidth-limited, and contested environments.
  • Apply Agile DevSecOps, automated CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, testing, observability, and AI-assisted development practices.
  • Communicate technical value, architectures, risks, and tradeoffs to technical, operational, acquisition, and executive audiences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Active Secret clearance and ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI eligibility.
  • Ability to travel more than 25% of the time.
  • 3+ years of experience applying AI tools and techniques to software development.
  • Experience designing and delivering large-scale software systems in complex or mission-critical environments.
  • Strong full-stack software development experience across application, backend, and systems layers.
  • Experience with Agile DevSecOps, automated CI/CD, cloud architecture, and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity, authorization, and accreditation requirements in defense or regulated environments.
  • Experience engaging customers or operational stakeholders and translating mission needs into technical solutions, prototypes, and demonstrations.
  • Preferred: experience with classified, contested, disconnected, or edge environments; Modular Open Systems Approaches; Model-Based Systems Engineering; operational AI/ML; defense acquisition and ATO processes; or warfighter and government stakeholders.
