Description

  • Design and implement backend services across the trading domain.
  • Own features end to end, including schema design, API development, testing, and UI integration.
  • Contribute to real-time infrastructure and client-facing APIs.
  • Write integration tests against real dependencies.
  • Support delivery of React and Next.js features through to completion.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of production backend engineering experience.
  • Strong background in TypeScript or another strongly typed language.
  • Experience with trading systems, financial infrastructure, or exchange-adjacent domains.
  • Knowledge of distributed systems and transaction handling.
  • Experience with a modern Node.js backend framework; NestJS preferred, but Spring, FastAPI, or similar are acceptable.
  • Experience with SQL and a production ORM, preferably TypeORM.
  • Experience with arbitrary precision decimal arithmetic in financial contexts.
  • Strong integration-first testing discipline.
  • Ability to ship React and Next.js features to completion.
  • Event sourcing experience is a plus.
  • Crypto exchange experience is a plus.
  • Direct experience with major exchange APIs, including REST and WebSocket, is a plus.
  • Experience with AWS services such as ECS, Aurora, and ElastiCache, plus Terraform, is a plus.
  • Experience with monorepo tooling such as Turborepo or Nx is a plus.
  • Experience with KYC or compliance workflows is a plus.
  • Crypto-native background is a plus.
