Description

  • Implement company-wide safety programs, policies, training, and driver-safety initiatives across all fulfillment centers.
  • Conduct audits, risk assessments, and corrective action plans to maintain OSHA and internal safety compliance.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture through education, engagement, and accountability.
  • Partner with operations and the Product Catalog Team to ensure proper handling and storage of ORM-D and hazardous materials.
  • Identify workplace hazards, support root-cause investigations, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Oversee workers’ compensation claims, reporting, carrier coordination, and escalated claim resolution.
  • Analyze quarterly claims data and trends, presenting risks and opportunities to senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with insurance brokers, HR, and internal stakeholders on renewals, compliance documentation, and reporting.
  • Support escalated safety-incident investigations and ensure timely resolution and documentation.
  • Manage Safety Supervisors across fulfillment locations and facilitate cross-site collaboration among safety teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of safety, compliance, or risk-management experience in a multi-site fulfillment or logistics environment.
  • Current OSHA, Certified Safety Professional (CSP), or Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) certification.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, workers’ compensation laws, and safety best practices.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and project-management skills.
  • Experience leading distributed teams.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
  • Experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or fulfillment-center environment.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • U.S. work authorization required; visa sponsorship is not available. Must be located in or willing to relocate to an eligible state, with approximately 40% travel to fulfillment centers and availability for incident support outside standard hours.
