Description

  • Own the end-to-end roadmap for platform efficiency and cost-to-serve reduction.
  • Identify, prioritize, and execute COGS initiatives without compromising customer experience or SLAs.
  • Partner with Core Platform and SRE teams to optimize resource allocation across Kubernetes, Kafka, and AWS services.
  • Work with FinOps to build and use cost observability dashboards to drive efficiency improvements.
  • Analyze AWS and cloud infrastructure cost hotspots and guide targeted architectural changes.
  • Translate technical bottlenecks into actionable PRDs and define success criteria for efficiency projects.
  • Coordinate with Finance, UX, Engineering, and executive stakeholders on cost-optimized solutions.
  • Communicate the financial impact of technical debt and infrastructure modernization to leadership.
  • Collaborate with cloud providers and third-party vendors to improve licensing, reserved instances, and usage-based billing models.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience, ideally in a technical platform role within an Enterprise SaaS environment.
  • Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, distributed systems, and microservices.
  • Experience with AWS cost structures and FinOps principles is highly preferred.
  • Power user of data analytics tools with strong comfort interpreting cost and financial data.
  • Experience with pricing, units of measure, and cost modeling.
  • Proven ability to break high-level efficiency goals into testable hypotheses and delivered features.
  • Ability to explain ROI and technical concepts clearly to both non-technical stakeholders and engineers.
  • Experience in Log Analytics, Observability, or Cybersecurity is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Big Data technologies such as Lucene, Parquet, and Spark is a plus.
  • Experience with billing and provisioning systems such as Zuora is a plus.
  • Understanding of OpenTelemetry (OTel) and its impact on data pipeline efficiency is a plus.
