Description

  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and outreach through proposal, negotiation, and close.
  • Build and leverage a pre-existing network in the nonprofit and social sector to generate pipeline and open new opportunities.
  • Lead consultative sales conversations with senior stakeholders and position the firm’s services as strategic solutions.
  • Develop and execute a multithreading strategy to engage multiple stakeholders and manage complex, longer-cycle deals.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline activity in the CRM and use AI tools to improve prospecting, outreach, and research efficiency.
  • Represent the firm at sector conferences, convenings, and industry events to build brand visibility and relationships.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team on go-to-market strategy, messaging, and new market opportunities.
  • Provide regular pipeline updates and revenue forecasts to leadership and support business development planning.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in full-cycle, consultative or advisory sales with the ability to source, develop, and close enterprise-level deals.
  • Direct experience selling into nonprofits and/or public school districts and charter school networks.
  • An extensive national network within the nonprofit sector that can be activated from day one.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to earn trust with executive and senior-level stakeholders over long sales cycles.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms and AI-enabled sales tools.
  • Understanding of multithreading and managing complex, multi-stakeholder deals.
  • A self-directed, proactive work style and comfort driving activity without a playbook.
  • Genuine mission alignment with strengthening nonprofits and social-sector organizations.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience preferred but not required.
  • Experience at a consulting firm or professional services organization preferred.
  • Background selling services to organizations with $20M+ budgets preferred.
  • Familiarity with the charter school, school district, or K-12 education sector preferred.
  • Comfort attending and networking at national or regional nonprofit sector conferences preferred.

Benefits

  • OTE of $120,000–$150,000 with a base salary of $60,000–$75,000.
  • 100% remote position with flexibility to work from anywhere in the US, Canada, or Central/South America.
