Description

  • Recruit, develop, and lead a team of Account Executives focused on mid-market businesses.
  • Work with senior leadership to define the team’s long-term vision, strategy, and operating model.
  • Manage day-to-day team operations with accountability for sales performance and growth metrics.
  • Drive revenue growth and new client acquisition across mid-market accounts.
  • Coach the team on consultative and solution-based selling.
  • Inspire and enable team member development, performance, and career growth.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to implement programs that improve team efficiency.
  • Understand mid-market customer needs and help shape Stripe’s products and solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, including with C-level stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of relevant experience, with 3+ years of people management experience preferred.
  • Experience leading scaled sales in an early- or growth-stage, high-growth technology environment.
  • Experience forecasting and managing a high-growth business.
  • Ability to hire, train, and coach a high-performance sales team.
  • Ability to build relationships with strategic clients and industry thought leaders.
  • Ability to understand technical concepts and translate them into business-relevant terms.
  • Preferred experience at a growth-stage internet or software company.
  • Preferred experience running complex sales cycles with commercial or enterprise companies.
  • Preferred experience leading a team in an office outside the company headquarters.
  • Preferred experience in the payments industry and/or fintech.
