Description

  • Evaluate and build the business case for strategic partnership investments across verticals such as AI, platforms, and payment methods.
  • Lead strategic planning, negotiation, and development of new partnerships.
  • Manage structured deal execution using milestones, KPIs, and alignment on shared opportunities.
  • Work with product, operations, marketing, and sales teams to execute deals that support Stripe’s strategy.
  • Develop and deepen relationships with partners, including senior executives and leadership teams.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable partnership strategies and processes.
  • Support launches of new initiatives through cross-functional collaboration.
  • Drive complex, high-impact initiatives that are foundational to Stripe.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of partnerships experience, including 5+ years of business development experience.
  • Experience establishing partnerships with financial institutions, fintech companies, payment methods, or similarly complex strategic partners.
  • Strong ability to operate with autonomy, handle ambiguity, and thrive in a fast-moving environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • Technical acumen to understand Stripe’s product portfolio and strategy and translate that into partner requirements and opportunity evaluation.
  • 5+ years of experience defining and executing partnership strategies to build innovative product experiences.
  • 5+ years of experience negotiating commercial deals with top financial and technology institutions.
  • Experience scaling commercial deals across multiple partners.
  • Interest in payments, economic infrastructure, and Stripe’s partners.
