Description

  • Manage one of Stripe’s most critical U.S. network partnerships and drive joint initiatives that launch new offerings for Stripe users.
  • Craft long-term partnership and product strategies using industry knowledge and data to support Stripe’s goals.
  • Lead deal negotiation and execution for partner strategy, expansion opportunities, and related initiatives.
  • Coordinate with internal cross-functional teams including risk, compliance, product, engineering, treasury, legal, finance, and global partner managers.
  • Develop, manage, and report on strategic plans and overall partner health with a multi-year perspective.
  • Reconcile competing priorities across multiple stakeholders and drive creative solutions toward shared goals.
  • Prioritize a large volume of initiatives and resource constraints to achieve the best outcomes for users and Stripe.
  • Work closely with leadership and external partner leaders and senior executives to align priorities and execution.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, or a similar field.
  • 3+ years of deep experience in the payments industry and understanding of how card networks operate.
  • Experience negotiating significant commercial deals.
  • Experience running large, complex, cross-functional projects.
  • Comfort working in a product-focused environment with many dependencies.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence C-level colleagues.
  • US- or Canada-based candidate.
