Description

  • Directly manage and cultivate a named account list and create account plans to win and expand business with upper middle market and enterprise companies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with C-level executives and coordinate executive touchpoints.
  • Develop outbound strategies to create and nurture new business opportunities.
  • Own the full sales cycle from lead generation through close.
  • Coordinate implementation of sold platforms and support effective use of Stripe products.
  • Foster relationships with executive stakeholders at both new and existing clients.
  • Collaborate with leaders across Engineering, Product, and Finance on product workshops and financial analyses.
  • Lead and contribute to team initiatives that improve and refine the sales process.
  • Work with Product and Engineering teams to shape and drive product strategy.
  • Contribute to the development of repeatable processes and scalable engagement models for platform partnerships.

Requirements

  • 3-6 years of sales or prospecting experience, ideally within a technology company, with a consistent record of top performance.
  • Experience managing and growing named accounts in upper middle market and enterprise segments.
  • Experience building and maintaining relationships with C-level executives.
  • Ability to lead complex, multi-party sales in a highly consultative manner.
  • Strong understanding of the buyer journey and the ability to navigate competitive situations.
  • Experience working with Startup, SMB, and Mid-Market companies.
  • Ability to engage in both business-level and technical conversations with leaders including the CTO, COO, and CFO.
  • Natural analytical ability and comfort evaluating business models and quantifying customer investment decisions.
  • Experience contributing to sales process development, value proposition articulation, and creation of sales tools and assets.
  • Experience collaborating with Product and Engineering teams to influence product strategy.
