Description

  • Own contract renewals and lead commercial negotiations to retain and grow existing customer revenue.
  • Develop and execute sales cycle strategies to drive product adoption, net new product sales, and customer retention at scale.
  • Solve complex client needs by collaborating with product, sales, risk, and operations teams.
  • Own the full sales cycle from lead generation through close for startups and small and medium businesses.
  • Generate new leads through cold calling, blitzing, research, networking, and territory development.
  • Identify customer pain points and propose appropriate Stripe solutions.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure customers are set up for success.
  • Drive end-to-end campaigns to increase adoption of Stripe products.
  • Work to improve Stripe’s product and customer experience through cross-functional feedback.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a client-facing sales role.
  • Ability to understand complex technical ecosystems and build strong relationships with technical customers.
  • Ability to drive and close upsell opportunities for additional Stripe products in long-term, consultative engagements.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to manage complex pricing and cost considerations.
  • Experience managing projects with input from cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to operate in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills.
  • Prior experience in a sales and customer-facing role at a high-growth technology company is preferred.
  • Experience with Excel and SQL, or a willingness to learn, is preferred.
