Description

  • Directly manage and nurture a named account list and create account plans for expanding business with upper-middle-market and enterprise companies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with C-level executives and coordinate the right executive touchpoints.
  • Develop outbound strategies to create and nurture new sales opportunities.
  • Own the full sales cycle from lead generation through close for upper-middle-market and enterprise accounts.
  • Develop relationships with executive stakeholders at both new and existing clients.
  • Work with leaders across Engineering, Product, and Finance to lead complex product workshops and financial analyses.
  • Contribute to platform partnership strategy and build repeatable, scalable engagement processes.
  • Lead and contribute to team projects that improve and refine the sales process.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering teams to help shape product strategy.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of sales experience, preferably selling a technical product, with a track record of top performance.
  • Extensive experience selling a technology product or service, preferably at an API-first company, with a record of top performance.
  • Located in New York, New York, South San Francisco, the Bay Area, Austin, TX, or eligible for US-West remote work.
  • Proven success moving complex, multi-party sales from inception to close in a highly consultative manner.
  • Ability to engage in business-level and technical conversations with decision-makers across technology and finance organizations.
  • Ability to understand complex technical problems and explain how Stripe solutions address them.
  • Strong presentation skills and superior verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to lead complex negotiations involving bespoke commercial agreements.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a highly ambiguous, fast-paced environment.
  • Fastidious CRM hygiene and experience using sales forecasting metrics on a weekly and quarterly basis.
  • Strong interest in technology and a deep understanding of the industry.
  • Experience in or excitement about learning financial technology infrastructure.
