Description

  • Lead the design, testing, and development of electrical systems and components aligned with project specifications and standards.
  • Develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and system layouts for power distribution, control systems, and circuit design.
  • Collaborate with mechanical engineers, software engineers, product managers, and other cross-functional partners to integrate electrical systems into broader designs.
  • Perform simulations and analyses to verify, optimize, and validate electrical systems against safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical support during manufacturing and deployment, including troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues.
  • Oversee program planning, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management across the full project lifecycle.
  • Manage timelines, milestones, deliverables, and resource coordination across internal teams, contractors, and vendors.
  • Monitor and report program status, risks, and progress to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Lead and mentor electrical engineers and technicians while promoting collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop testing protocols, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to improve quality and performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 7-10 years of experience in electrical engineering and program management, including 3-5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience designing and managing electrical systems for large, complex projects.
  • Strong background in power distribution, control systems, circuit design, and electrical troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency with electrical design software such as AutoCAD Electrical, MATLAB, and PSpice.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, and quality functions.
  • Strong program management skills, including risk assessment, scheduling, and budget management.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations such as UL, IEC, and NEC.
  • Professional certification such as PMP or PE is preferred.
  • Experience in telecommunications, consumer electronics, automotive, or industrial automation is preferred.
  • Knowledge of sustainability practices and energy-efficient designs is preferred.
  • Familiarity with software development practices and embedded systems design is preferred.
  • Experience with Agile or other project management methodologies is a plus.
