Description

  • Work with third-party APIs to enable local and global payments for card products.
  • Build reliable and scalable systems for the card issuing platform.
  • Manage downtimes and support system migrations.
  • Build and maintain externally exposed APIs for businesses issuing Visa cards.
  • Design and develop internal tools for business operations and platform management.
  • Create transaction reporting tools for day-to-day operational use.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Golang.
  • Knowledge of Git and GitHub.
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs.
  • Knowledge of microservices.
  • Knowledge of SQL, database design, and database performance tuning.
  • Knowledge of iterative, sprint-based product development.
  • Interest in building a zero-to-one product that is first to market in the region.
  • Knowledge of GraphQL (nice to have).
  • Knowledge of queue systems (nice to have).
  • Working knowledge of Golang and MySQL.
  • Ability to manage small to mid-sized engineering projects and prioritize high-leverage work.
