Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java and Spring Boot backend services and REST APIs.
  • Build scalable microservices and event-driven asynchronous processing flows using Kafka or similar platforms.
  • Design and optimize PostgreSQL and other relational database solutions, including query performance.
  • Implement caching solutions with Redis, Apache Ignite, or similar technologies.
  • Develop gRPC integrations and multi-tenant services with appropriate isolation, scalability, and security.
  • Containerize and deploy services using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and automated testing.
  • Write unit, integration, load, and performance tests.
  • Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural decisions.
  • Profile, troubleshoot, monitor, and tune application performance and distributed systems.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience with strong hands-on Java experience.
  • Production experience with Java and Spring Boot.
  • Experience building microservices and REST APIs at scale.
  • Experience with Kafka or similar event-streaming platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL or other relational databases, including query optimization.
  • Experience with Redis, Apache Ignite, or similar caching technologies.
  • Experience with gRPC and distributed service-to-service communication.
  • Experience designing multi-tenant applications and services.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and deployment automation.
  • Knowledge of unit, integration, automated, load, and performance testing practices.
  • Understanding of design patterns, clean code, and SOLID principles.
  • Experience with performance profiling, troubleshooting, application tuning, code reviews, and collaborative development.
  • Strong understanding of scalable, reliable, and distributed backend architectures.
