Description

Collaborate with customer delivery leads, engineers, and UX designers on real-world deployments.
Build full-stack features for state governments and public-sector partners with guidance from senior engineers.
Translate customer requirements into technical solutions and production-ready systems.
Develop backend services and web applications that meet security, privacy, and accessibility standards.
Contribute to codebases across backend, mobile, and browser environments.
Participate in customer deployments and the full lifecycle of software delivery.
Work with open identity standards and privacy-focused engineering practices.
Take on ownership of projects over time with mentorship and support.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; recent graduates are welcome.
Foundational experience with backend development in a statically typed language such as Rust, Go, C#, Java, or similar.
Coursework, internships, or personal projects may satisfy the backend experience requirement.
Ability to learn quickly and work collaboratively.
Strong communication skills and interest in working with customers and stakeholders.
Appreciation for open-source software, clean code, and thoughtful engineering.
Must be based in the U.S. or willing to relocate without visa assistance; TN status is acceptable.
Internship or project experience in full-stack development is preferred.
Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure is preferred.
Familiarity with modern web frontends such as React or TypeScript is preferred.
Familiarity with databases like PostgreSQL, APIs such as REST or GraphQL, or CI/CD concepts is preferred.
Interest in digital identity, cryptography, data privacy, security, accessibility, usability, inclusive design, or civic/government technology is preferred.

Benefits

$110,000 to $150,000 annual base salary.
Compensation may include equity.
