Description

  • Build, support, and deploy end-to-end product features, including user-facing workflows, APIs, data models, and integrations.
  • Break down medium-to-large projects into actionable tasks and provide realistic estimates.
  • Communicate risks, dependencies, and trade-offs early to stakeholders.
  • Write clean, well-documented code and participate in constructive code reviews.
  • Increase test coverage and reduce technical debt through pragmatic refactoring.
  • Monitor production performance using observability tools and create dashboards.
  • Identify and optimize latency, memory usage, and query performance issues.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, and QA teams.
  • Mentor early-career engineers by sharing context and modeling strong engineering habits.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of experience preferred, or equivalent mid-to-senior level mastery, delivering full-stack software in production.
  • Proven experience designing, testing, and maintaining features across both frontend and backend systems.
  • Experience with Python and Django on the backend.
  • Experience with React, Next.js, and TypeScript on the frontend.
  • Familiarity with design systems, databases, API contracts, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience with observability and production debugging tools.
  • Experience with AI and automation tools.
  • Experience working with distributed systems, integrations, networked services, or accuracy-critical workflows such as pay-related or financial systems.
  • Ability to work independently, clarify ambiguity, and solve complex problems with minimal oversight in a fast-paced startup or B2B SaaS environment.
  • Clear communication skills for discussing scope, trade-offs, and technical constraints with technical and non-technical partners.
