Description

  • Develop new features, fix bugs, and maintain the stability of the AI Workforce Pro platform.
  • Integrate updates from the upstream open-source fork without breaking existing functionality.
  • Collaborate with the Technology team to evaluate UI/UX approaches as the AI landscape evolves.
  • Complete cleanup and stabilization work on the AI XDR product in preparation for launch.
  • Ensure code quality, documentation, and deployment pipelines meet launch standards.
  • Build and maintain internal tools and automations that support SMB Team operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to scope, design, and ship internal and client-facing technology solutions.
  • Write clean, well-documented, maintainable code and participate in peer code reviews.
  • Contribute to engineering documentation, technical runbooks, and shared development standards.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, including preproduction environments.
  • Work with the Director of Technology Operations on sprint planning and project prioritization.
  • Surface technical constraints, scope risks, and blockers early to support product decisions.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience as a full stack developer with a proven ability to ship production-grade web applications.
  • Must be able to show real work through GitHub, live products, or an equivalent portfolio.
  • Ability to work autonomously and proactively without day-to-day hand-holding.
  • Must be current on the AI tooling landscape, especially for building AI-powered products and workflows.
  • Willingness to work within SMB Team’s systems, processes, and shared engineering standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with technical and non-technical teammates.
  • Proficiency in modern web technologies including JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js, RESTful APIs, cloud deployment, GraphQL, and serverless environments.
  • Experience working with AI/ML APIs or AI-powered product integrations such as OpenAI or Anthropic is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-moving, ambiguous, iterative product environment.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills across the full stack.
  • Experience with version control and branching strategies, including forked open-source repositories.
  • Experience with SMB Team’s tech stack, including HubSpot, Asana, PandaDoc, Slack, and Google Workspace, is a plus.

  • Salary of $160,000–$180,000 annually based on experience.
