Description

  • Manage joiner, mover, and leaver processes, access requests, approvals, associate access, and access reviews.
  • Configure and maintain Google Workspace as the company’s identity layer, including security hygiene across SaaS tools.
  • Implement and operate endpoint management and protection across the macOS fleet, including coverage monitoring and alert triage.
  • Design role and permission models and security configurations across approximately a dozen SaaS applications.
  • Assess SaaS security capabilities, plan-tier limitations, logging coverage, and compensating controls.
  • Monitor and use alerts, audit logs, and threat intelligence from existing security tools.
  • Build access reporting, cross-tool investigation capabilities, and a focused detection layer using Claude Code with the CSTO.
  • Participate in security incident response, including events outside standard office hours.
  • Deliver tool inventories, access mappings, security assessments, endpoint protection plans, access-review evidence, and a Security Dashboard.

Requirements

  • Experience working across identity, endpoint security, SaaS security configuration, logging, and standard IT operations.
  • Strong knowledge of Google Workspace identity administration, including SSO, SAML integrations, groups, organizational units, admin roles, delegation, context-aware access, audit logs, and alerts.
  • Understanding of APIs, REST, HTTP methods and status codes, API-key authentication, and OAuth 2.0.
  • Ability to balance security controls with business usability and operational urgency.
  • Ability to independently manage onboarding, offboarding, and access requests.
  • Experience evaluating security tools and deciding when to buy versus build.
  • Ability to assess attack vectors, respond to security incidents and breaches, and adapt controls accordingly.
  • Experience designing permissions, access models, and security controls across multiple SaaS applications.
  • Ability to investigate alerts, tune or disable detections when justified, and handle pressure to override security requirements.
  • Willingness to provide occasional support during security events outside normal office hours; no formal on-call rotation is required.
